Reviews for Red Square Glenorchy
Review highlights
Based on 175 reviewsRed Square Glenorchy is appreciated for its reliably good coffee and reasonably priced breakfast options, with several customers noting the quality of their beverages and morning meals. The cafe’s menu, however, is considered somewhat limited, particularly for those seeking vegetarian or vegan choices, as plant-based alternatives and vegan sweets are not widely available. While service is generally efficient, especially during quieter times, some patrons have mentioned a lack of enthusiasm from staff, which may affect the overall experience. Despite these points, the cafe remains a convenient spot for a casual breakfast or takeaway coffee in Glenorchy.
Went with family. Limited menu. Light sourdough bread. It was a struggle to get a vegetarian version of the egg Benedict (replacing ham by Spinach). Coffee choices were okay. Most of the staff was unenthused. Might not go back to this one.
Just got coffees for take away! Service was quite fast. It wasn’t busy on a Sunday near closing time. No vegan sweets available, in case you were wondering, but plenty of regular options! (Muffins, slices, cookies, loaves).
Always get a nice breakfast. Can't complain about the prices either great breakfasts $13.95 until 10.30 I think . coffee is always excellent and the tea is spot on also, not too weak.
